The Moravian Library in Brno (MLB) as the provider covers the following costs for successful applicants:
- an allowance of 26 000 CZK
- contribution to travel costs up to 10 000 CZK
La Marelle as the partner covers the following costs for successful applicants:
- accommodation in a residency flat in La Ciotat
The successful applicant undertakes to stay at the place of residency during the residency. The resident should be willing to take part in events (e.g. readings, presentations, debates) organised or arranged by La Marelle or the Czech Literary Centre (CLC), a section of the MLB.
The publication the author works on during the residency must include the note „This book/text/article was made possible with support from the Czech Literary Centre, a section of the Moravian Library in Brno, as part of a residency in La Ciotat.“ or
„Part of this book/text/article was made possible with support from the Czech Literary Centre, a section of the Moravian Library in Brno, as part of a residency in a Ciotat“ in the colophon, at the end of the article etc.
By sumbitting the application, the applicant is not entitled to financial support, the MLB reserves the right to evaluate the applications and decide, which applications it will and won't accept. The MLB will inform the applicants whose applications they accept via e-mail.
The MLB reserves the right to unilaterally modify the conditions for providing support while the support is being withdrawn for objective reasons. Relationship arising in connection with the residencies announced by the CLC, section of the MLB, are construed in accordance with the Laws of the Czech Republic and the Municipal Court in Brno is the relevant jurisdiction.
By submitting the completed form, you consent for the MLB to process and preserve the provided data for at least one year. The processing will be in full compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679, no data will be provided to any third parties and will not be used for automated individual decision-making/profiling. You grant your consent for an indefinite period. You may revoke your consent at any time by writting to info@czechlit.cz.
