WINDING BROOK FARM Spring Fling Show Series
Winding Brook Farm is proud to be hosting the Spring Fling Show Series.

DATES:
March 20
April 17
May 15

CLASSES:
CLASS A- Equitation over fences- Feedback forms will be given (12" cross rails through 3')
CLASS B- Jumpers- Clean ride then timed jump off  (12" cross rails through 3')
LEADLINE and GROUND POLES- CLASS A- Ride/review   CLASS B- TIMED
WESTERN GROUNDPOLES- TIMED
(Riders that enter the  equitation classes will receive a score sheet with the judge’s comments. Riders that enter the jumper classes will be scored on a clean round and jump off time, but will not receive a judge’s score sheet. )
*Riders may enter multiple heights and multiple classes.
*Space is limited to 30 riders per show.

WARM-UPS
*The show will begin with Warm ups from 7:30 to 9 and then classes will begin at 9. We will also offer some warm up opportunities throughout the day, but the times will depend on how many riders are in each class.

RIDE TIMES:
*WE WILL NOT HAVE DESIGNATED RIDE TIMES but will send a LIST of registered riders for each class prior to the show
*Riders may enter multiple heights and multiple classes.
Space is limited to 30 riders per show.

PAYMENT/REGISTRATION:
*Each class is $ 20 and is payable via Venmo. All fees need to be paid before the day of the show.
*Registrations due the Wednesday before the show at 6pm.
*Class fees must be paid via Venmo to @Liz-McGivern
*A copy of a negative Coggins for each horse is required. Please bring it to the show and submit at the registration table or email to mrhoads67@yahoo.com
*Any new registrations after closing date are subject to a $15 admin fee.
*No refunds after closing date.

COURSE:
*Due to the size of our indoor arena, some of the jumps will needed to be jumped more than once per round.
*Course will be sent out prior to the show

COVID PROTOCOLS:
*Unfortunately due to Covid and the size of our facility, we are going to be limiting the amount of spectators at this time. Each rider can bring one guest with them. Hopefully we will be able to accommodate more spectators in the future.
* MASKS are REQUIRED at all times except for when RIDING a horse

MISCELLANEOUS:
*Boots and safety helmet required for all riders on WBF property.
*We will award ribbons to first, second and third places and first place winners will receive a homemade baked goodie complements of Dolly Bob’s Bakery.
*In case of a need to postpone, we will contact you via email.
*Please remember that this is a schooling show. Show clothing is not required -- we just ask that riders wear boots and a helmet and are dressed neatly and cleanly.
*To attend the event, each rider must submit a negative Coggins and Rabies test for their horse the day of the event. The Coggins and the Rabies must be current within the past year.
*The judge has the authority to declare a horse "done" for the day if the horse is deemed overused
*No smoking or vaping on Winding Brook Farm Property.

I understand that I will have to submit a signed WBF waiver at the show. I also understand that any person riding a horse must wear a helmet while on the WBF property (trainers, parents, coaches, riders, grooms, etc.) regardless of age or experience. * *
