Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) is an 8-hour training to teach participants how to help someone who is developing a mental health issue or experiencing a mental health crisis. Just like CPR helps you assist an individual having a heart issue, YMHFA helps you assist youth at risk or experiencing a mental health crisis. maximum number for the course is 30 participants. This manual provides in-depth information about various mental health issues, and a deeper discussion of the Youth Mental Health First Aid Action Plan for each disorder. Upon completion of the course, participants will also receive a Certificate in Youth Mental Health First Aid USA. To receive the certificate, participants must be present for the full 8-hours of training
