School District No.48 (Sea to Sky) values holistic wellness for all employees. Workplace wellness includes all aspects of working life, from the quality and safety of the physical environment, to how employees feel about their work, their working environment, the climate at work and work organization. Our district strives to support this through actions, policies, procedures, and programs that ensure employees are safe, healthy, satisfied and engaged at work.
This form will serve as your application to the SD48 Wellness Committee for funding related to support site-specific Wellness initiatives. The intention of this funding is to provide all staff with support towards wellness in each work-site across our district. The funding allowance for each staff member is roughly $30. Please consider this when applying for support.
All submissions will be reviewed by the SD48 Wellness Committee and approved or denied based on the following criteria:
1. Is this initiative inclusive? (Do all members of work-site staff have access to the proposed funding request?)
2. Does the request fall into one or more of the eight wellness domains? (Environmental, Financial, Occupational, Intellectual, Spiritual, Emotional & Mental, Social & Physical)
3. Will this grant support sustained wellness for staff in SD48.
Each accepted proposal will be responsible for a reflection and picture post program to share out for all of our schools to celebrate the success of each program.

full staff nutritionist sessions
full staff yoga sessions
