Important Information
Scouts must be 14 years of age to be considered as a CIT. The fee to be a CIT is $150. Please speak with your Unit Leader before you apply. If accepted, the Connecticut Rivers Council expects loyalty to the management, its policies and programs, and full cooperation with other members of the Staff. If accepted, fee is required to be paid on the first day of your session. Checks can be made out to “Connecticut Rivers Council”. Selected Scouts MAY be invited to serve a second week at no extra cost following their exit interview. Those who participate in the CIT program enhance their possibility of being hired on staff, but participation does not guarantee a position. Again, participating in the CIT program does not guarantee future employment.
