Visual Phonics
Visual Phonics is a system of unique hand cues and written symbols that represent the sounds of English. Included are the sounds commonly referred to as vowels, consonants, diphthongs and digraphs. It is somewhat of a simplified, visual, kinesthetic version of the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA).  Originally developed by a mom of Deaf kids, the program is a cost-effective supplement to the current curriculum.  You will be able to log off of the training and use what you learned in the classroom the very next day. This training will be held online via Zoom on December 2, 2020 for 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. The cost to attend this training is $100/participant. Each participant will receive 3.0 PD hours or CEUs will be available.
