When: Wednesday 9 August
Time: 6.30 - 7.30pm
Where: Sumner School
Responding to family changes:
At the parenting workshop we will be talking about understanding what separation is like for our children and how one parent can really make a difference for their kids.
There are often major changes that children go through after a separation that result in some big emotions for them. Children often find it difficult to express how they are feeling in words and these big emotions tend to come out in changes to their behaviour. We will discuss effective ways to communicate with our kids after separation, the impact conflict has on our children and the importance of co-parenting.
