EUROPEAN CAFÉ #1:  Is Europe going in the 'right' direction?
The recent years we have been witnessing a change in Europe's political spectrum. Phenomena such as immigration, globalisation or the current crisis triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic provided the right-wing parties and movements with the perfect environment for their own radical narratives. While the far-right positions are gaining more and more political territory, the current European democracies are under pressure, together with common values such as diversity, equality and human rights. Europe is becoming a continent of hate and it makes us question the future of it.

But how much do we know about the right-wing parties and movements across Europe? Are we aware of their growing influence in our own countries? Is it a new phenomenon and do we know its causes? Is Europe going in the “right” direction?

We want to hear the opinion of young people and therefore we are organising the first European Café of this year, as part of the Shaping the Future of Europe Initiative of the DO ONE BRAVE THING project!
