Mesa Encore Theatre Audition Workshops
This is the Sign Up Form for MET's Audition Workshop Classes with workshop Coaches Kieara Kurtz-Williams & Gianluca Russo

There will be 4 classes held over the course of 4 weeks, meeting Saturdays from 9am-12pm. Ages 14+
Full Workshop - $80
Drop In Cost - $25/class

Be prepared to sign liability waiver and pay tuition fees Week 1.

Week 1: 

  • Showing Up (clothing/hair/attitude)

  • Audition Book (how to choose songs/finding cuts/how to physically prepare audition book)

  • Across the Floor Combination (Popular Dance Combos/Moves for Musical Theater/Jazz)

Week 2:

  • Monologues (pairing with music)

  • Audition Song Cuts (16 bar and 32 bar cuts) 

Week 3:

  • Mock Audition with Special Guest Musical Director

  • Participants will decide on audition cut and monologue they want to do for this audition

  • Feedback Session to follow auditions

Week 4: 

  • Callbacks

  • Dance Call

  • Reading Sides

  • Closing
