FOUNDING MANIFESTO

We are at a crucial historical moment due to the new attacks with which our government and specifically, the Ministry of Equality, plan to override our rights. Even today, the impunity of sexist violence, the commodification, exploitation an objectification of women, the ID laws, the interference of religions in our lives, the feminisation of poverty and the care system, and the erasure of women, remain the expression of our oppression. They oppress us for being born women.
We have  considered Article 2 of the Declaration of Human Rights  that establishes “everyone has all the rights and freedoms claimed in this Declaration. Without distinction of race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, economic position, birth or any other condition”
We  can confirm we are suffering a reaction of the patriarchy to our advances as a movement. This attack is being undertaken by the government, political parties, media and judicial instances.

WE WOMEN, are the political subject of feminism and therefore:

•WE  DECIDE that it is a democratic requirement the law should  protect us
effectively  from sexist violence  in all its forms and manifestations.

WE DEMAND all international conventions that are intended to stop sexist terrorism are complied with..

•WE  DECIDE that women should not be marketed , we are not objects.

WE DEMAND comprehensive legislation for the abolition of prostitution, which must be legally considered as paid rape. International agreements should be established to persecute and put an end to women trafficking networks for the purpose of sexual exploitation. Our country is 4rd entry route, consumer and destination for sex tourism in the world.

 • WE DECIDE that, knowing that pornography is the education for rapists, it should be banned.

WE DEMAND legislation be developed for its persecution and eradication.

• WE DECIDE we will not remain impassive in the face of the Government's inaction to prohibit the reproductive exploitation of women and the purchase of babies.

WE DEMAND the revocation of art.  10.3 of the Law on Assisted Human Reproduction Techniques so that no one can claim the parentage of a child born from reproductive exploitation and the annulment of the 2010 instruction that allows this procedure.

 • WE DECIDE those practices that exploit women, such as egg retrieval for third parties or uterus transplants from living women, cannot be legitimised as assisted reproductive techniques.

WE DEMAND the prohibition of these practices and their publicity.

WE DECIDE that patriarchal and androcentric stereotypes cannot influence science, research and the health treatment of women.

WE DEMAND an end to inequalities in women's health, medical and obstetric violence, and discriminatory labor legislation that currently affects the health of working women.

 • WE DECIDE that the sexual and reproductive processes of women must be recognised  in their particularity.

WE DEMAND medical leave for postpartum recovery be separated from maternity leave.
We also DEMAND that the right to exercise the voluntary interruption of pregnancy in the public health sector be guaranteed throughout the whole country.

 • WE DECIDE our country   has the duty to listen to our critical feminist arguments and stop and  revoque  all legislation that protects gender as an identity, erasing women as political subjects.
WE DECIDE also that no one should legislate on subjective self-identification: doing so makes public policies for effective equality between women and men irrelevant.

WE DEMAND individual wishes or feelings do not prevail over women's rights.

 • WE DECIDE cultural customs and religions must NEVER take precedence over human rights.

WE DEMAND all types of public space be secular, we demand, therefore, that those practices that based on custom or religion, undermine the freedom and physical and moral integrity of girls and women, be considered a hate crime

•WE DECIDE that Europe must be a safe reception area for migrant women and girls.

WE DEMAND from the European Parliament and the Government of Spain an immigration legislation that does not violate human rights.

 • WE DECIDE that essential jobs  and the care system must be a social responsibility of the State.  These jobs, despite being basic, do not have any prestige, social or economic recognition, and are often precarious.
WE DEMAND  a thorough review of the employment system that produces precarious jobs, especially part-time jobs that are assigned almost unilaterally to women.

 • WE DECIDE reconciling family and work life must be the central axis of social responsibility policies,
WE  DEMAND reconciliation policies to balance work and personal life.

• WE DECIDE to put an end to the criminal alliance between patriarchy and capital that feminises  the most precarious jobs, discriminates against us in terms of wages and prevents us from developing our professional careers.  In addition, we suffer a higher rate
of unemployment and poverty that condemns us, as women, to be more vulnerable to evictions, exploitation and the neo-liberal commodification of our lives.

WE DEMAND decent jobs, salary and pensions;  and that the law and justice persecute labour and salary oppression based on sex, without exceptions, such as that suffered by domestic workers.  We denounce the growing privatisation of public services, which especially affects  women.

 • WE DECIDE that this country is indebted to the historical memory of women;  our talents and our history must be present in the school and academic record and curriculum.

WE DEMAND the Government for policies that ensure knowledge and recognition of the contributions that women and the Feminist Movement have made throughout history in all areas.

 • WE DECIDE that the neolanguage that erases women is not tolerable in a democracy: if they erase us as women, they erase us as citizens.
WE DEMAND  that terms such as “pregnant parent”, “menstruating person”, “vagin-bearing”, “cis-women”, “non-trans women”, “surrogate motherhood”, “sex workers” … won’t be used as their sole purpose is the erasure of women.

WE WARN that:
 • We will not allow our rights to continue to be violated.
 • We will not accept that feminist critical thinking is flagged as a hate crime when reporting non-existent phobias.
 • You will hear our voices in all social and political participation spaces.  We will not vote again for any party that does not fight for these principles.
 • We will not tolerate  the introduction in schools of unscientific theories that seek to erase sex while intensifying gender stereotypes.
 • We will fight in the street until we achieve our objectives.

You will face us because THE FORCE OF WOMEN IS THE  FUTURE OF ALL
