Training for SLELO PRISM's VSN
The SLELO PRISM invasive species Volunteer Surveillance Network (VSN) is intended to recruit and train volunteers to recognize and report invasive species that are in low abundance or within close proximity to the St. Lawrence Eastern Lake Ontario Region boundaries (Oneida, Oswego, Jefferson, Lewis, St. Lawrence).

Members who are new to the VSN or those who aren't new but may need a refresher on how to recognize and report invasive species can sign up for a hosted virtual tutorial by filling out the form below.

Sessions will run about and hour to an hour and a half, and cover the following: 
  • Overview of SLELO PRISM & the VSN
  • Species Identification
  • iMapInvasives training (how to report observations using mobile app and online website)
  • Other opportunities (volunteer, etc.)
