The ARA Emerging Leaders, formerly the "Leadership Development Program," is designed to attract, identify and prepare our members for service to our REALTOR® community and to enlarge their contribution to the sustainability and advancement of the real estate industry. The program will provide a series of quality enrichment opportunities, challenging participants to grow personally and professionally through self-understanding and refinement of leadership skills. Only 25 participants are selected each year. It is recommended that applicants have at least one year of licensure and a minimum of five closed or leased transactions to qualify for the Emerging Leaders program.

» Applications are now being accepted through 5:00 pm on Friday, November 1, 2019.
» Please send a letter or statement of recommendation by 5:00 pm on Friday, November 1, 2019, to Katherine Miller's attention at katherine@atlantarealtors.com.
» The fee to participate will be $200 and will be due upon acceptance into the program.
» Applicants will be contacted in November if an interview will be necessary.
» The 2020 schedule is being finalized and applicants can view the 2019 schedule as a reference.
» In order to graduate from the program and be recognized at the 2020 Annual Business Meeting, there will be expectations to:
   - attend approximately 5-6 classes per year
   - attend the GAR Legislative Day on March 4th
   - attend one ARA committee meeting
   - attend one Board of Directors meeting
   - attend a one-on-one meeting with an assigned member of the Board of Directors
   - complete a presentation at an “Impact” meeting in November 2020 on your experience in the program
