REQUIREMENTS + EXPECTATIONSIn order to apply to be a member of the CREW, it is expected that applicants...
1.) Are a practicing Catholic and active member or their local parish.
2.) Are a witness of your Catholic faith in your personal life as well as on social media.
3.) Be a sophomore, junior or senior in high school.
4.) Have attended DCYC in-person previously as a high school student.
5.) Be willing and able to attend all training as outlined below.
6.) Be willing to be speak or act on stage.
7.) If 18 years of age by DCYC, compliance with Ethics and Integrity in Ministry is expected by December 31, 2021. This is a MUST for serving on CREW.
8.) Please do not apply if you are not available on the dates below.
9.) The preparation process for DCYC is a discernment process of service at DCYC. Mature behavior and respectful attitudes are expected of those chosen to serve on the CREW team.
TIME COMMITMENTThe time you’ll spend in preparing for DCYC may be more structured that you think! Discipleship CREW formation is primarily done in 2 in-person workshops and at least two virtual gatherings. In addition, you may be asked to work on programming components (memorization, practice, etc.) outside of these scheduled events. Attendance at these events in their entirety is mandatory, so please mark these dates on your calendar if you feel called to apply.
