Willaston has got a long association with North West in Bloom and has entered the annual competition for many years. For 4 consecutive years Willaston was awarded a gold medal most recently in 2019.
Due to the pandemic 2020 was a fallow year for Willaston with only minimal planting completed.
2021 saw more civic planters in use which brought some much needed colour to the village.

For 2022 we hope to bring all in bloom assets into use, unfortunately due to rising costs with our contractor the amount that we can do will be down to how much volunteer support we get.

Any help is appreciated no matter how big or small and naturally the peak season where help is required runs from March to September although help throughout the year is always welcome.
