The SLC Events Intern helps create spaces for encounter in the life of St. Lawrence. From Divine Winefest, Mom’s and Dad’s Weekends, to monthly Mission Formation and beyond they set the stage for connection, community, and welcome through preparing the physical environment, hospitality, and the components of a successful event.

In addition to being on the ground at each event, the intern will meet as needed with SLC staff leading the events to plan logistics as needed. As with all team positions, the intern will participate in monthly mission formation and the annual Mission Formation Retreat

This position participates in the centerwide Mission Formation program and I will be expected to attend the annual retreat (August 23-24) and formation meetings (1hr/month) associated with Mission Formation.

I will attend all planning meetings and faithfully perform the role entrusted to me, and communicate responsibly if I cannot or did not do so.

Failure to attend at least 75% of required meetings in person, and/or failure to make up any meetings missed, whether these absences are excused or unexcused, will forfeit my role and any and all stipends.
