Old Trade Brewery & Cidery Tasting Room Staff Application
Tasting Room Staff positions (base pay $6/hr plus tips; minimum. $16/hr per shift):
  • Part-time, with emphasis on the tourism season (April-Sept), tourism shoulder season (Oct-Nov, Mar.), and light scheduling during the off-season (Dec.-Feb.)
  • Seasonal, with emphasis on April-Sept. and light-to-no scheduling mid-fall through spring.
  • Summer, spanning May-August (approximately 2.5 months)

Looking for individuals with enthusiasm for beer, cider, and wine who thrive in a fast-paced environment! Staff will be asked to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:

  • Work 1-3 shifts per week in the Old Trade Tasting room and in The Mulberry event space on a rotating schedule Thursday through Sunday, including evening shifts, weekends and holidays

  • Assist with brewing and related tasks, which may include routinely lifting and moving items 55 pounds or greater;
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of indoor and outdoor facilities;
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and interest when learning about craft beer and the brewing process

Preferred candidates will have experience working in the brewing and/or alcohol industry, or food service industry; have excellent customer service skills, including a positive attitude and the ability to deal with difficult situations in a professional manner; have the ability to take the initiative and work with minimal supervision; and be able to multi-task in a face-paced environment.
