As the world struggles to overcome the COVID-19 crisis, American Muslims are stepping up to answer the call to help others. The Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU) and the National Muslim Taskforce on Covid-19 partnered to document American Muslim contributions and impact during COVID-19.This is a chance for American Muslims and their allies to document contributions made by individuals and the community at every scale, from personal donations to food drives, public health research, national-scale philanthropic programs, and more. The project and the resulting research report is a chance for the community to write its own story and its own history. Help ISPU document these contributions and positive impacts during the COVID-19 crisis by submitting your contribution or someone else's via a simple online survey. We encourage you to tag stories of contribution or articles about them using #muslimimpact or email stories of contributions to ISPU at the following email

The Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU) provides objective research and education about American Muslims to support well-informed dialogue and decision-making. Our Muslims for American Progress project began documenting Muslim contributions to the health, happiness, and well-being of all Americans in 2016, including the Muslim response to the Flint water crisis. At this extraordinary time, as we all deal with the COVID-19 crisis, we aim to capture how Muslims are contributing in this time of need.
