At this time, we are looking to fill a position for general kitchen assistance, for the summer, with the potential to help out into the fall. This position would be ideal for a multi-tasker who is a true team player. Main tasks would be helping to keep the kitchen tidy, clean, and organized, while reading the room to tend to things that need to be done like dishes, sanitizing, taking out the trash, and taking inventory. Additional tasks would include packaging product and customer sales of our retail case. The ideal person will also be comfortable with helping our bakers and decorators complete tasks, and we will also train as need be to help with some basic cake pop decorating and baking product off, to keep our retail case full for the summer.

Currently looking for someone with afternoon availability (~12-6pm), Wednesdays-Fridays, between 8-18 hours hours per week, as well as availability for some Saturdays as well.

- 16 years or over may apply

- trustworthy

Essential Duties:

- cleaning and organizing the bakery, including dishes, sweeping, mopping
- inventory of kitchen ingredients and supplies
- packaging of food products and box folding preparation
- assisting bakers in the kitchen with requested tasks
- assisting decorators in the kitchen to help with production of basic cake pops, sugar cookies, cakes and, cupcakes, as need be
- helping to grow our bakery case sales and customer service of retail sales

Starting pay is variable based on past experience. We are looking for a team player that is looking to have a great experience in a fun and low-key bakery (after all, we are putting cake on a stick!). ;) If contacted, we may require resume with references.
