* Clerical: (Need 1-2 volunteers)
Volunteers would come in once a week to copy and prepare materials for upcoming lessons. (Friday any time is best OR a specific day/time can be arranged.)


* Room Parent(s): (Need 1- 2 volunteers)
Room parents act as our class liaison to parents and assist with class celebrations. I will meet with you at the beginning of the year to go over the dates and details.


* Book Talk Volunteer: (1 volunteer each day -  Monday and Friday)
This volunteer would interview students about their current independent reading novel. Questions will be provided.

* Reading Groups: (Need 1 volunteer on Tuesday and 1 volunteer on Wednesday 8:45 - 10:00am )
This is a very important and rewarding job for our class. This volunteer would come in once a week at the specific time and lead a small group of students in a reading group. The lesson is prepared for you already. I will have a training meeting to set up expectations and specific dates.

* Gold Rush Days Coordinator: (Need 1-2 volunteers)
On May 22, 2019, the 4th grade team will have a fun-filled day of “Gold Rush” activities for the kids to participate in towards the end of the year. Each class is responsible for 2 stations. We have the day already planned out, but we will need a parent to help coordinate volunteers for the stations and a “miner’s meal” lunch in the classroom. This is such a fun event! Planning would start around the beginning of February.
