Updated ME Composite Shop COVID-19 Prevention Plan (September 2021)

We need everyone’s help to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Speak up if you observe someone not following these precautions. We are all responsible for stopping the spread of the virus.

GENERAL GUIDELINES
Everyone working on campus is required to take the UW COVID-19 Safety Training, even if they have already been working on campus in previous phases: https://www.ehs.washington.edu/training/covid-19-safety-training-back-workplace.

A. Prevention Plan Oversight
The designated site supervisor, Dzung Tran, will:
•  Be responsible for ensuring all the elements of these guidelines are followed.
•  Keep the site-specific plan updated and current with changes to COVID-19 guidelines, regulations, and University policies.
•  Keep these guidelines on the MyME (https://www.me.washington.edu/myme) website so it is available to all personnel/students.
•  Require all personnel/students using the Composite Shop to review the contents of this plan and any updates and attesting the completion of this requirement at the end of this form.
•  Ask personnel/students to activate the Washington Exposure Notifications – WA Notify (https://www.doh.wa.gov/Emergencies/COVID19/WANotify) on their mobile devices.
•  Be available or their designee to respond to issues and questions during work and class activities.

B. Vaccination Verification
•  All personnel/students are required to submit their vaccination verification/attestation by established deadlines (see UW COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: https://www.washington.edu/coronavirus/vaccination-requirement/).
•  All personnel/students are required to wear a face covering indoors when other people are present and in all public and common areas (see UW COVID-19 Face Covering Policy https://www.ehs.washington.edu/covid-19-prevention-and-response/face-covering-requirements).
•  Contractors, vendors, and visitors will be notified of the UW COVID-19 Face Covering Policy and the requirement to wear face coverings.

C. Physical Distancing
Physical distancing is recommended for all individuals while indoors at a University location, especially in crowded settings and in areas that are not well ventilated.
