Regrettably our live event which had previously been approved by the Kern County Department of Public Health can no longer be held at Lake Ming due to the new “Regional Stay at Home Order”.  While the order permits individuals and families to run/walk/jog outdoors while maintaining a 6 foot distance, we were informed that “the intent of the States Order is for individuals to stay at home as much as possible and if they must engage in physical activities, to do so with members of their own household.”

At this time participants that registered for the live event will have options including to pick up their swag at one of three packet pickup days and do the event as a virtual run, or as we had committed, participants can request a full refund.  Please see registration site for three packet pickup dates and locations.

We are still collecting cash donations for the Mission at Kern County, (Over $1300 so far), plus we will be loading Santa's Sleigh with donations of new or slightly used clothing, non-perishable food items, and supplies at each of the packet pickup locations.
