Vehicle Exchange Colorado: Automobile Dealer Preregistration Form

The Colorado Energy Office and Community Access Enterprise launched the Vehicle Exchange Colorado (VXC) program during August 2023.

VXC is a statewide point of sale rebate program designed to encourage income-qualified Coloradans to recycle and replace eligible old or high-emitting vehicles with electric vehicles.

Automobile dealers interested in participating in this program must be located in Colorado, licensed to operate in Colorado, and sell electric vehicles (EVs). Automobile dealers that are online-only are not eligible to participate in this program.

After an automobile dealer submits this preregistration form, a VXC program representative will contact the indicated primary point of contact in the coming weeks to help complete the registration. Following registration, the automobile dealer must electronically sign an agreement and attend a virtual orientation. Authorized automobile dealers will receive digital and physical VXC program materials, including marketing collateral and a toolkit.

To learn more about the VXC program, please visit our website. Additional registration information for automobile dealers may be found at this page.

If you have questions regarding this program, please contact the VXC program manager, Ed Piersa, at edward.piersa@state.co.us.

Note: If you are entering multiple automobile dealer locations, please download and email the attached spreadsheet to: edward.piersa@state.co.us.
