Rhythm Science Sound is excited for another round of our classes for Adult Learners. No experience necessary, just a willingness to learn and experiment.

Beat Basics is a 5 part course which will introduce you to the techniques and concepts of dance music production....i.e. making funky beats!
Learners will be introduced to the functionalities of music production software(Ableton Live) and hardware(Ableton Push controller) through guided lessons and hands-on experimentation.

Course content will cover:
>The basic capabilities and workflow of Ableton Live.
>Genre specific beat structures(i.e. Boom Bap, Trap, House, Dembow, etc)
>Basic Chord and Melody composition
>Song structure.
>Using Audio effects(Filters, Delay, Reverb, etc)
>Audio Sampling

Classes will be held at Rhythm Science Sound offices located at 900 S. Shelby St. Louisville Ky 40203
Class schedule-Feb 24, Mar 2, Mar 9, Mar 16, Mar 23- all sessions Monday 6:30-8pm.
Space is limited(5 students per session)
