Commitment to "Tournament Medal Day":  YBC's "Tournament Medal Day" is scheduled for May 24th.  
a.  Do you agree to make every effort for your child to attend?  Please be aware: Not only does participating in this event raise your child's self-confidence in their ability (no matter the results) , but it affects three other students when one student is absent from a class tournament (very negative effect).
b.  Can at least one member of your family attend the ceremony at end of class from 4:05-4:20 p.m.?  If not, can you please designate another parent to take a picture/video of your child so they'll have confidence in knowing you will see them be recognized.  This is very important for each child.  Thank you.

EARLY DISMISSAL POLICY:   Parents are always welcome to attend or observe any of our classes.  We love parent participation and involvement. However, as it pertains to “early departures/interruptions”, YBC tries to avoid any/all interruptions during class.  

We respectfully ask parents/relatives/siblings to NOT come into the class and interrupt (to take your child early) during our instructional hour—even if it is quiet in the classroom.  If it is imperative that your child leaves early, please let us know ahead of time by texting, calling or emailing Dr. B (240-687-7655) by noon that day so he/other instructors will be aware.  This will ensure a quiet, planned departure.  Please check YES below to confirm that you understand YBC's "Early Dismissal Policy".

REFUND POLICY:  Please check "YES" below to confirm your understanding and agreement to YBC's "No Refund Policy":
a. YBC does not offer refunds--unless the class is canceled due to low enrollment.
b.  Please look over your schedule before signing up as YBC does not give refunds for sports, vacations or other scheduling conflicts.
c. YBC does not offer refunds as it relates to student behavior.  (Please see our Behavior Policy in next section.)
d. YBC does not offer "Trial" Classes.  We ask for a full commitment per "session" from each family as it is impossible to ascertain a student's "progress" and/or "interest/joy" in that skill after only one class.

Behavior Policy:  Please check "YES" below to confirm your understanding and agreement to YBC's "Behavior Policy":
a. Students are expected, regardless of age/grade, to pay attention in class, have a good attitude, show good sportsmanship during games, follow directions and be respectful to others.  
b.  If there is a behavior issue such as blatant disregard for teacher and/or other students, throwing chess pieces, etc., the student may be asked to take a time out.  In this case, the parent may be called by phone--in order to bring attention to the issue going on in class.  
c.  If, after we have spoken with you, this behavior continues, we will politely ask you to remove your child from the class (as this is unfair to other students who are diligently attending class, focusing and attempting to grow in this skill area).  No refunds will be given.
d.  If a parent chooses, on their own, to remove their child from the class per the situations above, no refunds will be given.
e.  Please consider whether your child will be able to pay attention and/or behave in class before signing up.  We work alongside all parents for the benefit of your child, so feel free to call Dr. B if you have questions:  240-687-7655

HOW TO RESERVE YOUR CHILD'S SPOT IN CLASS:  
After finalizing this current registration form, you will need to pay* YBC (via Zelle) within 24 hours.  After 24 hours has passed, your child's spot will be released until payment has been received.
*If your child is in Aftercare, your fee will be $60/student.  If your child is NOT in Aftercare, your fee will be $135/student.
