Just Transition Roundtable Application

Please fill out the application below so we can learn about your interest and how you would like to be engaged, based on the following tier groups:

Tier 1 partner duties: Be a part of the steering committee, help plan and organize the Roundtable, conduct outreach to potential partners, seek funding for this project where possible, participate in all Roundtable discussions, and lead implementation of recommendations after the Roundtable.

Tier 2 partner duties: Advise and assist with planning and outreach to potential partners, participate in all Roundtable discussions, and help implement recommendations after the Roundtable.

Tier 3 partner duties: Participate in Roundtable discussions and help implement recommendations after the Roundtable as time allows.

Individual: Participate in Roundtable discussions.


We are primarily looking for representation from the following sectors (and others are welcome to apply):

  • individual workers from the oil and gas industry

  • representatives from labor organizations and industry groups

  • representatives from impacted community organizations

  • representatives from environmental organizations

The convening committee is fundraising to provide small grants/honoraria to support the time of participants as needed. Currently, we can offer $3,000 for four Tier 1 partners, $2,000 for four Tier 2 partners, $1,000 for four Tier 3 partners, and $1,000 honoraria for 10 individuals ($167 per half day session or focus group).

*Participation in the roundtable will remain confidential if you choose.

*In an effort to keep the representation from each sector fair and balanced, we cannot guarantee participation in the roundtable or compensation for participation. Applying early is recommended. Once the steering committee reviews applications from participants, we will let you know final determinations. For groups or individuals who apply but cannot participate in the roundtable series due to scheduling constraints or steering committee decisions on balancing the roundtable, we will be inviting your participation via a written survey.
