Topic: Emerging field of heritage: From passion to profession

Speaker: Prof Aditya Prakash Kanth
Aditya Prakash Kanth is an Art Conservator working in the field for the past seventeen years. He is currently an Assistant Professor and Programme Chair in the Centre for Heritage Management at Ahmedabad University. His area of research is the scientific characterization of art and archaeological objects and the development of conservation methodologies. He teaches courses on Heritage Documentation, Conservation and Preservation Science, Environment and Climate Change, etc. at the University. 

He is also the "Director, Chair of Emerging Professionals Committees" at the International Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (IIC), London.
