Nonprofit Nomination Form
**Nominations are due one week prior to our quarterly event**

Imagine the power of women gathered together for one hour, four times a year, each with a willingness to crowdfund for a nonprofit.

The Power of 100 is an idea borrowed from similar organizations that have sprung up across the nation. Each quarter, members nominate charitable organizations that impact the Red River Valley. The goal of The Power of 100 is to utilize the power of numbers to make a large donation to four different charities over the course of the year. Each membership donates $100 each quarter. With 100 women in attendance, the selected nonprofit will receive a $10,000 donation.
Members can nominate a nonprofit for the quarterly event. During the event, three nonprofits are chosen at random to present about their mission and impact in the community. They will have exactly five minutes to pitch and five minutes for audience question and answer. After all three different nonprofits have had their chance to present, the members in attendance vote for the nonprofit they would like to receive the funds. By popular ballot vote, the nonprofit is selected to benefit from evening's members and guests. In an effort to make a greater impact, once a nonprofit is selected they can’t be nominated again for two years. If a nonprofit is not selected they can be nominated again the next quarter. Nonprofits are vetted by the executive committee after nominations are submitted by the members. Memberships can be held individually or as a team/group. Each membership gets one nomination, one vote and one $100 donation per quarter. The Power of 100 is not an organization, but rather a group of caring volunteers.

No money passes through the group, all donations are made directly to the nonprofit selected each quarter.
