How Museums Work Registration
How Museums Work is a virtual, collaborative, teen, summer program presented by museum professionals from the  New Mexico Museum of Art, Office of Archeological Studies, the National Hispanic Cultural Center Art Museum, and the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science.

Are you 14-18 years old and curious about what it would be like to work in a museum? Do you dig dinosaurs and artifacts? Are you attracted to art? Do you make art yourself? Do you like collecting things and sharing stories about them? This program is open to creative teenagers, statewide, who would like to learn more about different types of museums and the exciting work that happens behind the scenes. It is FREE!

Dates:  Weekdays, July 12 – July 30, 2021,  2-4pm  (If this conflicts with your work schedule, please contact us!)
 
This three-week session will include a variety projects, guest speakers, virtual museum tours and more!
