Park County School District #6 ARP ESSER Stakeholder Survey
In March 2021, the American Rescue Plan (ARP) act was signed into law, dedicating funds for K-12 schools through Elementary and Secondary School Education Relief (ESSER) III funds. As a result, Park County School District #6 is eligible to receive $5.9 million in one-time federal funds. The purpose of these funds is to help maintain safe and effective operations of our schools and address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on learning and students social-emotional well being with at least 20% of the funds used to address learning loss, mental health, and student well-being.

To provide applications and software for individual student learning interventions and enrichment.
To provide materials and tools to students, parents and families to improve student engagement and academic success.
To provide before and after school enrichment programs.
Supports for social and emotional wellness for students.

To support technology systems, improve infrastructure, and increase connectivity.
To expand opportunities for students to engage with workplace, workforce, and business partners (i.e., career mentoring, apprenticeships/internships, job shadowing, career speakers, and other school-business partnerships).
To support teacher and staff development to update classroom curriculum and instructional practices.
Activities to address the unique needs of low-income children or students, children with disabilities, English learners, racial and ethnic minorities, students experiencing homelessness, and foster care youth, including how outreach and service delivery will meet the needs of each population .
