Anti-Racism Initiative: Guest Lecture
Sign up for the first event of the Anti Racism-Initiative!

In an effort to become an anti-racist community, university and association; the AUCSA, Diversity Commission and the Wellbeing team are organizing the Anti-Racism Initiative. As part of the initiative, Diversity Commission has recruited a BIPOC Changemakers Team who will bring ideas, changes and initiatives from within the community. The aim of the initiative is to raise awareness of the history of the BIPOC community, create safe spaces for our BIPOC students and staff, and have the conversations involved in becoming an actively anti-racist university and association.

This time around we are hosting Mr. FE (Francio) Guadeloupe. Faculty of Social and Behavioral Sciences at UvA.
Program group: Globalizing Culture and the Quest for Belonging

He will introduce us to the topic of Nonracialism, post-racialism, or racial settlements: "what is our political horizon?"

Our Guest Lecture will take place on zoom, Wednesday 21st from 15.00 to 16.00h.
