The Swell Realms is a white-listed, java edition, SMP server, founded by Kawsiphek. This brand new community offers the chance to experience Minecraft from many angles, not just for our members, but for our viewers too!
The Swell Realms is comprised of highly skilled and mature, players and content creators from around the world. Working as a group to create an immersive and unique realm to live in, this is a place for players to showcase their talent, inspire others, make friends, and have fun. Our players are held to a high standard of quality, taking extra effort to make sure projects are completed, and the community areas stay maintained.
On a regular day, casual game play is encouraged. Recording and streaming your normal game progress is not required. However, if an opportunity arises to create more fun for yourself, and the other members, do not hesitate to create and share content. Roleplay situations such as pranks, friendly conflicts, shop advertisements, and skits showcasing the builds on the server, are great ways to spark life and inspiration in our realm.
Once each month, we will come together as a group, to record a series of mini-games or other competitive event. This footage will be used in our monthly recap, drawing inspiration from nostalgic children's television, and cheesy reality game shows. Individual episodes should have a similar style, straying away from the traditional lets play, and instead, offering a more structured show, with varied elements.
The server will run the latest stable build of vanilla Minecraft. The map will sustain long term, with a vote to restart once each year. Our game will include custom tweaks and improvements made possible with the use of resource and data packs. As time progresses, we will create custom textures, offer downloads for custom resources, and compile a structure pack, with feedback from our members and viewers.
