Volunteer Form
Thank you so much for offering to help the library this weekend! We're excited about the great day we have planned, but we need your help.

We'll have 12 booths that each need at least 1 volunteer. We've divided Saturday morning into 1 hour sessions to make sure that volunteering didn't take your entire Saturday morning - unless you're okay with that.

Please enter your information below.

Minor Volunteers: All under age volunteers - 15-17 years old - must get a parent or guardian to fill out a permission slip at the library. This form does not count as a permission slip. Yes, that slip can be filled out when you are dropped off Saturday morning.

Parent Volunteers: If you are a volunteer bringing kids to the Kickoff, please make arrangements for another adult to be responsible for your children while they are at the library. Staff cannot "watch" or babysit patron children.

***Please Note: These volunteers will be unsupervised around young children. We cannot accept volunteers with criminal convictions (including probation only sentences) or anyone under the age of 15.***

It will be hot on Saturday, and many of the booths involve playing in or with water. Please dress accordingly. Profanity and revealing clothes are not permitted for volunteers while you are volunteering at the library.

When can you help? *
We know everyone is busy; so we divided the day into hour long sessions with setup and clean up being 30 minutes each. Those two are the most labor intensive sessions. Generally, you will be asked to sit at a booth, explain how to play the simple game offered there, and give out a prize to every child 12 & under who participates.
Required
Are you a minor (under 18) volunteer? *
Have you ever been convicted of a crime (including those with probation only sentences)? *
Because volunteers will be unsupervised around children, we cannot accept volunteers who have been convicted of a crime.
