A group of Millerton and surrounding town residents are sewing face masks for any community members in need, free of charge. Please complete this form if you would like to request face masks.
We will be prioritizing face masks to first responders, essential workers, and people who are over 70, immunocompromised, or who have an underlying illness. But we hope to make enough masks for anyone in need.
All volunteers sewing face masks at home are asked to take precautions against spreading Covid-19, including sanitizing all sewing tools and surfaces, pre-washing fabrics, washing hands, and individually packaging completed face masks. But we do ask that you wash them before use. Please be advised that these masks are provided with no representations of fitness for use of any kind. Recipients of our masks assume all risks associated with using any mask provided through this effort.
After submitting this form, a Millerton Community Care Network volunteer will contact you when your masks are ready to coordinate pick up or delivery.
