TOGETHER WE SING - TOGETHER WE SHINE!
Join a friendly, inclusive and FREE ‘pop up’ community choir celebrating Black Country's heritage, culture and people led by Louise (Voices Entwined) and Katie (Heartwave Chorus) rehearsing for and singing at a vibrant public concert in Dudley Town Hall on March 24th 2025. The concert will be MC'd by Jasmine Gardosi, who will be performing too. Musicians will include local folk duo Filkin's Drift.
Choir Sessions - Mondays 6.30 to 8.30 in Dudley Town Hall Bar
January 13, 20, 27 February 3, 10, 17, 24 March 3, 10, 17
Some sessions will also include exploration of spoken word with local poet Martin Yates.
Diva Dudley will breathe new life into existing local songs and also perform a new collection of songs written by Dan Whitehouse and Jasmine Gardosi - arranged specifically for the choir to sing - some a capella and some as backing vocalists. There will also be some opportunities for solos/small groups.
Rehearsals will be FREE for participants. ALL LEVELS of experience/age/background/gender are WELCOME.
