Who are we?

CA:RING (Children and Adolescents: Research Involvement for the Next Generation) is a collaboration between the The University of Cambridge and the children’s charity Anna Freud.

What is the purpose of the questionnaire?

We are in the process of establishing a diverse community of individuals interested in contributing to children’s health research with national representation. It is important to make sure a wide range of views are included, and so we would like to involve people from anywhere in the UK. Our aim is to support research and innovation projects aiming to improve young people’s health and well-being by providing insights and feedback by members of the public.

To do this, we are interested in hearing from researchers in different sectors (healthcare providers, academics, and researchers from commercial organisations and charities). We want to understand how researchers approach patient and public involvement (if they do at all!), and what barriers there may be to doing this.

What will happen if I decide to take part?

We will record your responses and analyse the results to help improve our patient and public involvement community. Your responses are confidential. We will never share your personal details with any third party.

Participants will have the opportunity to be entered into a raffle to win a £50 Amazon voucher.
