The Faculty Fellows
program, initiated by the School of Computing at the University of Wyoming,
aims to support projects that presents an opportunity for faculty members to
propose projects that enhance computing research, learning, and engagement at
the University of Wyoming, aligning with broader institutional goals and
priorities. The application process consists of three steps.
1. Complete this
application form, which provides overview information to the selection
committee.
2.Submit a proposal,
no more than two pages, summarizing the planned project to advance
computing research, learning and/or engagement at the University of
Wyoming, describing the plan of work and the project team, addressing
envisioned deliverables/outcomes, and explaining the project motivation.

Proposals should be broadly understandable, please do not use
complicated, discipline specific jargon! As relevant, describe how the project
addresses the Priority Criteria 1-5 above
3. Budget and budget justification for up to $30,000 (including fringe
benefits) that must be expended by academic year end. Budget should include as
much detail as possible, i.e., type of student support, salary/stipend amount,
equipment needed, etc. Funds can be used for:

Research assistant support (undergraduate/graduate student, postdoc,
etc.).
·
Workshop expenses and participant support
·
Costs for hosting and travel for visiting scholars
·
Essential travel or equipment in direct support of project goals
·
Faculty summer salary
