Two classes are being offered:
(1) US Research Basics Series
(2) Jewish Research Basics Series

Day 1: US Research Basics (Sunday, January 24, 2021), at 4:30-8:30 EST
• Part 1 - Databases and Federal Records
• Part 2 - State Resources
• Part 3 - Local Resources

Day 2: Jewish Research Basics (Sunday, January 31, 2021), at either (A) 11:00-3:00 EST or (B) 4:30-8:30 EST
• Part 1 - Where to Look?
• Part 2 - What's in a Name?
• Part 3 - The Old Country

Cost of Attendance
• General Public: $80 for one day, $150 for both days
• Greater Houston Jewish Genealogical Society (GHJGS) Members: $65 for one day, $120 for both days*

*The member discount is only available for individuals who have renewed their membership for 2021 with the Greater Houston Jewish Genealogical Society; your membership status will be verified if you choose to pay the membership rate. If you are not yet a member and want to take advantage of the GHJGS membership rate, please join at http://ghjgs.org/membership/.

Additional Information:
• Sessions will be conducted on Zoom.
• Sessions will not be recorded, but copies of the slides will be shared with participants.
• Each session will be capped at 25 attendees per session.
