Delta Area Field Trip Registration Form and Waiver

Greet some of the first spring migrants to return to the Tanana River Valley! This all-day trip is led by Arctic Audubon Board Member and Adventure Borealis guide Ryan Arash Marsh. Together you will explore the Delta Junction area for waterfowl, raptors, and other early migrants. Meet at the Creamer’s Field Farmhouse parking lot at 8 AM sharp. We will try to carpool. Dress for walking in snow (possibly mud) and bring lunch, snacks, and water.

Waiver of Liability

I understand that while participating in a trip in the field I may encounter a variety of risks. I fully understand and agree to the following: 

I agree to abide by and follow the instructions of the designated trip leader. 

I am aware of the inherent dangers involved and I freely and knowingly assume all risks to myself and my property. Inherent dangers are likely to include but are not limited to: difficult footing and uneven terrain; exposure to hot, cold, and/or wet weather; possible exposure to moose, bears, and other wildlife; and exposure to sun, insects, and other environmental hazards. 

By participating, I release Arctic Audubon Society from all liability, including death, injury, illness, property loss or damage, to the fullest extent allowed by law, which I may incur while engaged in Arctic Audubon activities.  This release is intended to include inherent risks and acts of negligence.  By participating, I acknowledge that I AM ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE for my own health and safety.  

I agree to hold harmless and indemnify Arctic Audubon Society and its officers, employees, and volunteers from and against any and all actions, suits, damages, liability or other proceedings that may arise as the result of my choice to participate.

Photography Release

I hereby give permission for Arctic Audubon to use my portrait, photograph, or images to promote the organization, its programs, and achievements. Such use includes but is not limited to using images in public presentations, publications (print or electronic), grant applications, brochures, displays, reports, web pages, and social media.
