Thank you for your interest in the Gender Affirming Voice & Communication (GAVC) Map, presented by the
Vocal Congruence Project. This map is an evolution of the referral list developed by members of the
Gender Spectrum Voice & Communication Facebook Group. It encompasses both GAVC Trainers of all backgrounds and laryngologists who offer gender affirming phonosurgery.
This map is intended to aid clients in finding professionals who are equipped to perform these services with a
high degree of cultural and professional competence. While newcomers to this work are welcome, we encourage reading the
WPATH Standards of Care chapter on Voice & Communication, and reflecting on if your present skills and knowledge match the guidelines presented. We intend to respect self-determination of eligibility for this map.
To help clients identity the best provider for them, individuals will be able to submit feedback and testimonials, which may be linked to providers on the map.
Changes to your information on the map will occur within 2 weeks of submitting this form.
