On the 6th of February, SIB-Leiden will host its second Round The Table-event and the first of its kind in 2020. We are very honoured to receive mgr. Aldo Cavalli, the diplomatic representation of the Holy See and the apostolic nuncio to The Netherlands, for an intimate and special dinner with members of SIB-Leiden and L.S.A. Custodia.

Mgr. Aldo Cavalli has been in the diplomatic service of the Holy See since 1979. He has been the Apostolic Delegate to Angola, as well as the Apostolic Nuncio to São Tomé and Principe, Chile, Colombia, Malta, Libya and - since 2015 - is the Apostolic Nuncio to The Netherlands. The diplomatic status of a nuncio is much like that of an ambassador, though in Catholic countries this status is most often promoted to that of Dean of the diplomatic corps - meaning the most important diplomatic representation in a country.

REGISTRATION:
This event has very limited spots, thus SIB-Leiden and L.S.A. Custodia require a motivational letter in order to make a selection for this special occasion. This can be done by filling out the following form or sending an e-mail to bestuur@sibleiden.com with the subject of 'Registration for the 'Round The Table: mgr. Aldo Cavalli'. Due to high demand, only members of either SIB-Leiden or L.S.A. Custodia can attend this event. Other activities in The Hofweek are open to everyone and both associations are open to new members anytime of the year.

Registrations close at January 30th, 12:00. The definitive time and location will be corresponded to attendees shortly prior to the event due to safety-related reasons.

PRICE:
The price for this event will be determined at a later stage. We of course aim at making the event affordable for as many students as possible, but we cannot compensate on the restaurant. We again cannot disclose the price at this stage due to safety reasons. Thus attendees will be requested to  pay shortly prior to the event. By consenting to this form, you also consent to having enough credit to pay for your dinner.
