Norseman Junior Middle School


Thanks for your interest in joining the Norseman School Advisory Council!!  We are excited to welcome back past members and get new members in the mix too.  Please note that you do not need to be a council member in order to attend meetings.  All Norseman parents and caregivers are welcome to join the meetings.

This year, there are vacancies for co-chair & secretary.  Please consider one of these roles and know that last years co-chairs are still around to provide guidance and will be members of SAC.

The purpose of School Councils is to improve student achievement and enhance the accountability of the education system to parents/guardians (Reg.612/2.1) through active parent/guardian engagement. Getting involved with your School Council is a great way to be involved with your child’s school and education.

A few points to note:
- All parent/guardians with children with Norseman as a home school are eligible to be school council members.
- All individuals nominated for membership will be acclaimed at the SAC meeting on Thursday, September 30, 2021
