Hi everyone,

In expansion of our summer program Clann Am Baile Mòr, Antigonish Highland Society is excited to announce our new youth committee! We are looking for 12 local youth (Grades 5-8) interested and committed in becoming more involved with Gaelic language and culture. The committee will go from October 2021 to April 2022.

Registration will be open from September 28th - October 5th. Limited sports available.

What the committee will entail:
A monthly meeting with Stfx Gaelic Society. This gathering will connect youth with Gaelic speakers and learners while focusing on traditional cultural activities.
A monthly meeting with either a guest speaker/instructor, practice Gaelic in ceilidh settings, cultural outings and activities to promote Gaelic in Antigonish.
If Covid-19 promits, attending Antigonish Highland Society annual events such as St. Andrews night, Culloden Ceremony, Tartan Day etc.
Being a representative of the Antigonish Highland Society.
