The Project
In this program, parent/student pairs will collaborate with each other (under the expert guidance of a very talented teaching artist from Sundog Theatre, Inc.) over the course of three Saturdays (choose from first and second choice session dates below - time is always 9 am-11 am at the school) to produce a beautiful canvas that will be a lasting memento of the middle school years. Families will begin by researching and choosing an inspirational quote, or perhaps even a family saying, that is particularly meaningful to them (examples will be provided), and then design how they would like to present it and make it come alive on canvas. (Again examples will be provided). Families will get professional instruction on color; design; font/lettering; imagery; tone; style and more. We did this project a number of years ago and it was a smash hit!
Please note that PARENTS ARE REQUIRED TO BE VACCINATED IN ORDER TO ENTER THE SCHOOL BUILDING. (This requirement is for the adults only and does NOT apply to students!).
