About the Role - We at YVLC are looking for a young, passionate and driven intern to join our incredibly talented and driven team. The intern, who will have the title of Legal Ops Intern at YVLC, will be required to assist YVLC’s Partners in legal research, supervising interns and also manage day-to-day operations of the team. You will provide the team assistance by using strategic management, financial, and project management, and IT in combination with legal advice.

Roles and Responsibilities - (i) Assist YVLC Partners to run their legal team like a business, focusing on competencies like financial management, analytics and service design, (ii) Schedule meetings from time to time, set the agenda, keep track of meeting notes and share them post meeting, (iii) Conduct research and deliver concise memos from your findings, (iv) Track the invoices we are issuing and payments being received and update the monthly finance report for the YVLC Partners to review; and (v) Review applications from potential YVLC Partners and participate in out-reach campaigns with the YVLC Partners. 

Years of Experience - While any past legal, administrative or operations experience assisting lawyers in a full time role or past internships would be preferred, we are open to also hiring someone with no specific past admin or client facing experience so long as we deem them to be a good fit with YVLC’s culture and if they exhibit a good understanding of YVLC’s Mission and Vision.
