VAFF is looking for enthusiastic, friendly volunteers for our 2019 Family Day. Family Day is an annual, local highlight that features family-friendly screenings, an Interactive Arts Festival, live performances, and arts activities. All Family Day events are free, open to the public, and take place at UVA Arts Grounds on Saturday, October 26, 2019, 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM.

All volunteers are asked to attend a Volunteer Kick-Off and Training Session on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 6 PM in UVA's Drama Lobby for information about their Family Day shift and to get their complimentary volunteer badge and shirt.

VAFF Volunteers rock! As a way to say thank you, all of our 2019 Family Day Volunteers receive: a complimentary volunteer badge, lanyard, VAFF beanie, long-sleeve t-shirt, and a 20% discount off Festival merchandise purchases. Plus, free lunch during your shift!

Volunteer roles take place outdoors & indoors and include:
     *Set up
     *Welcome attendees to Arts Grounds
     *Direct attendees to correct locations
     *Run interactive craft stations
     *Distribute maps, stickers, and balloons
     *Count attendance
     *Breakdown / clean up
