7th ACGMUN - Independent Delegation (Form I)

Dear Delegate,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the in-person 7th annual session of the American College of Greece Model United Nations (ACGMUN) Conference, hosted by Pierce-ACG on the premises of our school in Athens, Greece, on Friday, March 29th, Saturday, March 30th and Sunday, March 31st, 2024.

We are excited and pleased to announce this year’s theme:

Reaching Net-Zero

Achieving net-zero in all aspects of society requires significant changes in the way humans generate and consume energy, how societal norms are established and how sustainability should be embraced. Creating opportunities for innovation, job creation, and economic growth appeals to our generation as it is up to us to take action and work towards a net-zero world. Together, we can create a healthier, more equitable, and more prosperous world, focused on the goal of “Reaching Net-Zero”.

ACGMUN is a three-day conference conducted in English and open to secondary school students (ages 14-18). Our conference serves as a simulation of the United Nations and provides students with the opportunity to speak on issues of importance in the volatile and troubling world we live in. Through participation in the conference, delegates increase their knowledge of diplomacy, develop critical analysis, practice public speaking and negotiation, and develop friendships beyond their community.

This year, the 7th ACGMUN conference will be attended and assessed by the THIMUN Foundation in the process to obtain one of the most reputable and prestigious certifications an MUN conference can achieve: the THIMUN Affiliation. Therefore, we guarantee a conference of excellent quality, highlighting the values and ethics of the American College of Greece community and our motto “Non ministrari, sed ministrare (not to be served, but to serve)”.
