Tools Needed: Shovels, Mcleod or Picks/Mattocks if you have tools to bring. MLTS Tool Trailer will also be there with tools available.

About the Event: The primary work site will be on the east side of Blanchard Rd, which we will walk to from the parking area.  We'll be finishing the work we started in October, benching in new trail segments, some of which will be heavy pick and shovel work.  There may be poison oak, so everyone should wear long pants, close toed shoes or boots, long sleeve shirts, gloves, eye protection, etc.  Tools will be provided by MLTS, but feel free to bring your own pick, shovel, or McLeod.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided when we are finished.

We will meet just east of the train depot at El Dorado. The following should be a link to Google Maps showing how to get to the parking area from Pleasant Valley Rd in El Dorado.

Directions: from Pleasant Valley Rd, head north on Oriental St. Stay left at the fork. Turn right on the gravel road and head northeast parallel to the railroad track. On the right, just before the pen with the bulls in it, there will be a wide space to park. Restrooms are available at the train depot.
