Course content:

1. Introduction to the machine
2. The monitor and the scan area
3. Important information displayed on the monitor
4. The image; projections and orientations
5. The gross abdominal anatomy in sonographer
6. The complete general abdominal study
7. Archiving images and reporting

Pre-requisites to enrol

1. Qualified medical practitioner
2. Access to ultrasound machine for scanning practise
3. Commitment to completing and submitting course work.
