Definitions
The following terms have these meanings in this Code:
“CW” – Capital Wave Swim and Water Polo Club.
“Harassment” – comment(s) or conduct directed towards an individual or group, which is offensive, abusive, racist, sexist, degrading or malicious
“Member” – all individuals employed by or engaged in activities with Capital Wave Swim and Water Polo Club including, but not limited to: athletes; coaches; volunteers; team managers; administrators; committee members; board members; parents; chaperones; guardians; and spectators.
“Mission” – Capital Wave aims to give athletes the opportunity to develop a positive self-image, achieve physical and mental strength, learn life skills, and attain goals in a fun environment through the sports of swimming and water polo
“Safe Sport” - Capital Wave believes in promoting a safe environment for our athletes, coaches, officials, support teams and spectators. We believe in treating every person with respect and dignity in an inclusive space.
