As an active member (Senior or Junior) you are required to complete a minimum of 6 patrol shifts in the 2022/23 season.
Like the core member groups, members under 18 years old will be allocated to a patrol team where they are expected to complete their allocated shifts, find subs when unavailable and make up missed shifts.
Members over 18 have the following choices;
Core Member Position
○ Patrol leaders help make up the compulsory award positions on patrol.
○ Ability to gain leadership, patrol and incident experience.
○ Members will be rewarded for their patrol contributions
○ No limit on the number of core members each patrol has, but members are expected to find subs, attend patrol and be role models on shift.
Flexible Patrol Member
○ Members have the ability to self allocate themselves onto a minimum of 6 patrols spread throughout the season (must include one January shift)
○ They are able to choose patrol dates and times which fit around their schedules
○ No limit on the number of core members each patrol has, but members are expected to find subs, attend patrol and be role models on shift.
Rostered Patrol Member
○ Allocated to a patrol team who is completing 6-7 patrols, evenly spread throughout the season.
○ No limit on the number of rostered members each patrol has, but members are expected to find sub and attend patrol.
The patrol season starts Saturday 12 November and finishes Sunday 23 April.
